Herein lies a compilation of my most cherished YouTube channels. Having subscribed to most of these for a number of years, I make it a point to regularly tune into their content. These channels are categorized for your ease of reference, and will be continually updated as I stumble upon more gems. MKBHD - From the latest smartphones to futuristic tech gadgets, MKBHD’s YouTube channel is your one-stop-shop for everything tech-related. He brings a unique and witty perspective to product reviews and tech news that will keep you entertained and informed.

Arjan Codes - Awesome Python tutorials and projects. Arjan’s YouTube channel is a great place to learn Python and build cool projects. Specializes in code smells, refactoring, design patterns, and clean code. High quality content.

NeetCode - Awesome Leetcode solutions implemented in Python. My favorite go-to channel for Leetcode solutions. He has a great way of explaining complex concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. Short, no-nonsense videos.

FreeCodeCamp - Great tutorials on web development. FreeCodeCamp’s YouTube channel is a great place to learn web development. Thousands of hours of free crash courses across a varied range of topics. One of my all time favorite channels and organizations.

Dennis Ivy - Specializes in Django and Python. Dennis Ivy’s YouTube channel is a great place to learn Python and Django. Lookout for projects like the Django Ecommerce Project and the Django Blog Project.

Codevolution - MERN stack tutorials. Codevolution’s YouTube channel is a great place to learn the MERN stack. He has a great way of explaining complex concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. Tons of good content.

Primeagen - Inspiring and motivating code reviews, inspection of the tech-industry and awesome memeworthy content. Primeagen is know for his hot and solid takes which he backs with his immaculate drip and experience. Godly status.

The Prime Time - The Prime Time is a YouTube channel that will make you laugh, cry, and gasp with wonder. From gaming to reaction videos, there’s always something new and exciting to watch, so why not spend some prime time with this entertaining channel? Blessing for software engineers just looking to chill on stream. Lovely commentary and banter. Feels like home.

Traversy Media - Get ready to dive into the world of web development with Traversy Media’s YouTube channel. With clear and concise tutorials on everything from HTML and CSS to React and Node.js, he’ll have you creating professional-grade websites in no time.

Corey Schafer -
If you’re looking for tutorials on Python, Django, and other programming languages, then Corey Schafer’s YouTube channel is the perfect place to start. His in-depth tutorials cover everything you need to know, all presented in a clear and engaging manner.

Coding Entrepreneurs - Perfect resource for Python Devs. Highly professional, well produced, and informative. Coding Entrepreneurs’ YouTube channel is a great place to learn Python and build cool projects.

Unbox Therapy - If you’re a tech enthusiast, then Unbox Therapy’s YouTube channel is a must-watch. With reviews and unboxings of the latest gadgets and tech products, you’ll always be up-to-date on the latest trends in technology. Plus, his entertaining and humorous style will keep you engaged from start to finish.

Amanda McCants - Just go ahead and watch all her content right now. She’s the greatest. Self-aware, meta commentary on fashion, gen-z culture, and the internet. She’s a genius. Calabasas Mom is a must watch.

Cherdleys - All about comedy. The entire gangs videos feature them playing eccentric and over-the-top characters in various humorous situations. If you’re looking for a laugh, Cherdleys is the perfect channel to check out.

Cracker Milk - Focused on entertainment and humor. He posts a variety of videos, including skits, parodies, and challenges, all with a comedic twist that will keep you laughing.

Desi Banks - A place where you can find hilarious skits, parodies, and stand-up comedy from this talented comedian. With a focus on everyday life situations and relatable humor, Desi Banks will keep you entertained for hours.

Ricky Berwick - This channel is all about making people laugh. With his unique sense of humor and his famous tongue-out expression, Ricky posts videos that range from funny skits to satirical commentaries on pop culture.

Ryan The Leader - Comedy Skits and Parodies. He has a great way of making fun of pop culture and current events in a way that’s both entertaining and relatable. Self-aware, meta commentary on social settings, gen-z culture, and the internet. Great acting and writing.

Frying Pan - Frying Pan’s YouTube channel is focused on tech and comedy. His CS interview videos are hilarious and relatable. Everything is over the top and the acting is top notch. A solid collection of videos that will keep you entertained.

Jack The Pool Boy - I love this channel. Jack The Pool Boy’s YouTube channel is focused on comedy and satire. He posts videos that cover a variety of topics, mostly day to day life, all with a humorous twist that will keep you laughing. The music choices, his acting and co-actors add a lot to the videos. Jackie boy is a legend.

Man Carrying Thing - Very short, very on-point and hard hitting comedy. Occasional book reviews. Known for roasting big enterprises and their products. Deeply insightful and hilarious.

Stevie Emerson - One of my all time favorites, I binged all the videos. Ranging from short to medium length comedy sketches that look as if they were a TV show in their own rights. Well-placed comedy men can relate to with a great sense of humor. Hilarious situations, wild writing and unhinged acting. You’ll be laughing your ass off.

Long Beach Griffy - Long Beach Griffy’s YouTube channel is focused on comedy and satire. He posts videos that cover a variety of topics, from politics to pop culture, all with a humorous twist that will keep you laughing. Bro loves anime and is invulnerable to criticism. Banger after banger. GOAT.

Interviews and Banter

Chicken Shop Date - Amelia Dimoldenberg’s YouTube channel features her interviewing celebrities and public figures while sharing a meal together in a chicken shop. The casual atmosphere and off-the-cuff conversations make for a unique and entertaining viewing experience.

Lex Fridman - Focused on topics related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and self-driving cars. He interviews experts in the field and provides informative and educational content on the latest developments in technology. Lex is a great interviewer and has a great way of explaining complex concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. Tons of good content.

Some Ordinary Gamers - All about exploring the depths of the internet and uncovering hidden gems and strange phenomena. With a focus on gaming and technology, this channel provides unique and entertaining content. Great banter, commentary and memes. Great for a laugh and a chill.

Introvert Madness - A philosophy channel as well as career-advice or life banter channel. Early vids are very comic and had me on the floor. He’s a great interviewer and has a great way of explaining complex concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. Tons of good content. Lots to learn and laugh about. Most of the stuff is about CS and Stanford.

Gaming

Gameranx - Gameranx’s YouTube channel is dedicated to video game news, reviews, and gameplay. With a focus on providing informative and entertaining content, this channel is a great source of information for gamers of all kinds. Reviews are honest, early and offer a great insight into the game. Has helped me find some great games.

VaatiVidya - VaatiVidya’s YouTube channel is focused on the lore and storytelling in video games. With a passion for deep dives into the narratives of games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, this channel is a must-watch for any fan of story-driven gaming. Nobody analyses games like Vaati. He’s a master of his craft. Lore Daddy.

Girlfriend Reviews - Fffers a unique perspective on gaming, with reviews and commentary from the perspective of a non-gaming girlfriend watching her boyfriend play. With a lighthearted and humorous approach, this channel offers a fun and refreshing take on the gaming world.

IndieMaus - All about indie games, with reviews, gameplay, and interviews with developers. With a focus on highlighting the best of the indie gaming scene, this channel is a great resource for discovering new and unique games. Awesome commentary and sense of humor. Great for a laugh.

Cacaphony and Discord - Cacophony and Discord’s YouTube channel is dedicated to exploring the darker side of gaming, with content that delves into horror games and creepypastas. The Needledrop - This is the YouTube channel of Anthony Fantano’s music review website of the same name. On this channel, Fantano posts reviews of both popular and underground music, as well as interviews with musicians and other music-related content. Turning The Tables - Dad and son react to music. Great channel for a laugh. Very entertaining and funny. Great for a laugh and a chill. The dynamic and the expression of thoughts is honest and genuine. Tons of great albums have been covered so far and I like most of the videos that drop. Dad brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the table and son brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Great channel.

Movies and TV

Mandela Catalogue - A horror, alternative and creepy video collection channel. Well-edited and well-produced videos that scare the shit out of you. Wierd and drony production paired with unsettling atmosphere and cult-like imagery makes this channel a must-watch for horror fans. So far there have been 4 volumes of the Mandela catalogue and it has become an internet phenomenon in its own right.

Alt Shift X - This is the YouTube channel of a content creator who creates in-depth analysis videos about Game of Thrones, Westworld, and other popular TV shows and movies. His videos are well-researched and often provide interesting insights that you might have missed while watching the shows. If you’re a fan of pop culture and love to delve deeper into the worlds of your favorite shows and movies, this channel is definitely worth subscribing to.

Ben Deen - His videos are well-produced and often showcase exotic and interesting foods from around the world. If you’re a foodie or just love to travel vicariously through others, this channel is definitely worth checking out. He just sits down, grabs delicious looking takeaway food and reviews it while eating. Awesome commentary and sometimes a bit funny. He’s a great guy and I love his videos.

Daddynegan - AMVs, video edits of anime and video game characters set to music. High production quality that will leave you amazed. Great attention to detail. Love the castlevania videos. Great channel for anime fans.

Data is Beautiful - This is the YouTube channel of Data is Beautiful, a Reddit community that shares and discusses interesting data visualizations. The YouTube channel features compilations of the best data visualizations from the subreddit, as well as some original content. If you’re interested in data science or just love to see beautiful and informative visualizations, this channel is a great resource.

For the love of comics - This is the YouTube channel of a comic book enthusiast who posts videos about comic book history, culture, and analysis. His videos often feature in-depth discussions of classic and modern comics, as well as interviews with comic book creators. If you’re a comic book fan who loves to learn about the medium’s rich history and culture, this channel is definitely worth checking out.
